Live captions
Every language channel carries live captions next to the audio - useful for accessibility and for attendees who prefer reading. Caption-only channels are available for languages that do not need a voice.
Built for phones
- Screen-lock friendly - Playback continues with the screen locked, with controls on the phone's lock screen.
- Localised interface - The attendee page localises itself into 12 interface languages automatically.
- Very light on the network - Each listener uses roughly 0.15 Mbps - phones on 4G/5G work perfectly well, so venue Wi-Fi is helpful but not a prerequisite.
- No barriers - No app store, no account, no personal data required to listen.
Big screens and existing headsets
Live captions can be projected in the venue: a transparent caption overlay page (original language or any translation) works as a browser source in OBS or vMix, or full-screen on a projector or LED wall. Details in AV integration.
If your venue already has IR or FM receivers, Interpretwise can feed them: the multichannel routing console outputs each interpreted language on its own physical output (line-level or Dante at 48 kHz), so existing transmitter systems keep working - alongside the phones, not instead of them.
